S Korean president arrives in US amid fears for Kim-Trump summit
President Moon is hoping to convince President Trump to accept a compromise that will allow the summit to go forward as planned.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in is in Washington, DC, just three weeks ahead of a planned summit between Donald Trump and North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un.
Moon is expected to meet Trump on Tuesday for what is being described as a ‘crisis session’ after Pyongyang threatened to pull out of next month’s meeting.
