SAN BRUNO — Authorities are searching for an SUV driver who fired several shots in San Bruno early Wednesday.

The shooting was reported near Chapman and Terrace avenues shortly before 4 a.m., according to San Bruno police.

Police said the driver of a dark-colored SUV, similar to a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Jeep Patriot, fired multiple rounds into the air, then sped off.

Officers searched the area for the driver but only found numerous spent shell casings.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
