PITTSBURG — A magnitude 2.5 earthquake shook the East Bay late Thursday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor hit about 11:05 p.m. roughly half a mile west of Pittsburg at a depth of 10½ miles.

There were no immediate reports of any damage or injuries.
