UNION CITY — Police arrested a person Friday morning following the stabbing of a student at James Logan High School.
The student was stabbed before noon, and police locked down the campus at 1800 H Street. Authorities did not release any details immediately on the severity of the stabbing.
Police put out a digital alert at 1:27 p.m. that they’d arrested a juvenile who is suspected in the stabbing and that they’d lifted the lockdown.
Students were scheduled to be released from the school at its normal 3:20 p.m. dismissal time, police said.
Police first alerted the public to the stabbing at 11:04 a.m.
